Kingston KPEX-100 Cheat Sheet

Turn on and off

• Unplug the Power Cord (USB)
• Click the Power button to turn it on.
• When turning on, it goes through a series of screens until a menu appears.

Start recording

• Plug audio cable into the Line In jack
• Hold the Record button until record screen appears. Release the button.
• Click the Record button to start recording.

Stop recording

• Click the Record button again to stop recording.
• Plug the Power Cord (USB) back in

Copy audio to miniSD

• From the record screen, press Escape until menu appears.
• Press ←/→ until File Manager appears; press Select.
• Use ← and Select to navigate to Root/Record.
• Use ↑/↓ to select the latest audio file.
• Click Mode and copy menu appears.
• Use ←/→ and then Select to pick Copy.
• Use ←/→ and Select to navigate to miniSD.
• Press and hold Select until the paste procedure begins.
